Application Certification Standards and Procedures of Organic Tea

According to the basic ideas and standards of the International Federation of Organic Farm Movements(IFOAM), organic food (tea) should meet the following three conditions:

1.Organic food (tea) ingredients must come from organic farming products (organic products).

2.The raw material of organic food (tea) is produced according to the organic agricultural production and the organic food processing standard.

3.products (tea) must be the organic food or food (tea) certified organization for quality inspection, accord with standard of organic food (tea) production, processing, awarded a certificate of food (tea).

According to the IFOAM organic food production and processing of the basic standards and the requirements of the EU EC2092/91 organic food certification, institute of Chinese academy of agricultural sciences tea organic tea research and development center (OTRDC) formulated the standard of certified organic tea. OTRDC organic tea certification program for the study, sample preview:

1. choose the base, sample pre-testing;

2.apply and fill in the questionnaire,

3. the preliminary examination, sign the agreement,

4. inspections,

5. write inspection report,

6.through a comprehensive review,

7.The council consideration

8.get the certification.
