100% natural shea butter is produced by the Ukrainian beauty brand Aromatika. Shea butter, also known as karite butter, is extracted from the nut of the African shea tree (Vitellaria paradoxa, formerly Butyrospermum parkii). In Africa, it is widely used in food preparation, while outside Africa it is mainly used in cosmetics as an emollient (moisturiser).
